Enhanced Layer 7 DDoS Protections

Akamai’s new Layer 7 DDoS protections detect and mitigate short DDoS attack bursts, use client reputation scores, and include URL Protection to prioritize legitimate traffic during highly distributed attacks.

Browser Impersonation Detection

The new feature uses machine learning to gain insights into browser behaviors and enhance detection of malicious bots while minimizing false positives.

Additional Capabilities

App & API Protector users now have access to features like Simple Start Onboard, CVE Protection Catalog, Client-Side Protection & Compliance, and Advanced SOCC Services.

Updates to Web Security Analytics

Updates simplify operations and boost analytics capabilities, including customizable dashboards, configuration change indicators, webhook alerts, and shortened deep links for easier sharing.
